Introduction
A few months back I was able to do some intensive testing on a proposed 5in1 console adapter for the X-Arcade tank sticks. It's only now (with their permission) that I am able to divulge the true nature of some of the previous X-Arcade videos that I have created and published on YouTube.

This new website design has been one big huge mission. I can tell you that for nothing. Had I known so much effort would have been needed to have gone into this I... I...
I'd still bloody do it, LOL. |

Just finished watching this and had a good old chuckle. It's a shame the Metal Gear series wasn't covered.

My apologies to everyone for not being around of late. As you may know from my previous blog entry, I've been having major technical difficulties with my destop PC.
Thanks Ghost for your response and tips on how to resolve the issue. Upon further diagnosis of my system (over 7 installations of Vista in under 36hrs), I'm drawing the conclusion that somewhere there is a hardware failure.
This spells bad news for me because I presently feel that it may be a hard drive fault at play. The million dollar question remains, "but which hard drive?".
What this effectively means is that my main priority is to back up all my important data (outlook, bookmarks, website, mgo vids, etc) and then bench test the hardware.
This overhaul of my system has brought me to quite a low and depressing state. Not just because of the problem it presents, but also the timing couldn't have been worse.
I'm hoping this all works out well in the end and I can get back on track.
My thanks to all those involved in keeping the forums going and clan matters whilst I deal with this crisis.
I imagine I'll be on MGO for a bit of survival today, to take the edge off. I hope to see you guys there on the battlefield.

It's not been the best of weekends, nor the worst either, because lets face it; there are people dying in Africa of Aids and famine.
But do not begrudge this old man his right to whine and moan, for comparisons aside, it's been quite an awful week.

I finally got around to writing up a few movie reviews that I've allowed to build up as an ever increasing backlog.
It certainly feels good to get back to some writing. There's something I find cathartic in writing a film review. It serves as a great pro-active distraction.
However, I must remember to not leave it so long before watching a film and then writing my review. So much of what I would like to say deteriorates in my memory over time, as does the emotions associated with the films.
Lets see if I can improve in the future.

At the time of writing this it has been probably 2 months since I completed the mod of my X-Arcade solo arcade stick.

I've just discovered this youtube personality / vlogger. TEMPHUiBIS
This video in particular really did touch on my own personal reasons for switching to an arcade stick. It's time to not have that arcade-stick-phobia when one calls out to you.

As I mentioned before, I was looking into purchasing parts in which to modify my existing X-Arcade solo joystick.
At first I gave a detailed email to the UK/EU official suppliers of component parts, Gremlin Solutions.
I didnt get an email response for 48hrs and was desperate to find out more information. When I called them up they explained that they were still working through the backlog of xmas and New Years (I didn't realise business was so good for arcade parts!).
